The CAN Micromod Modules are microcontroller based CAN modules. The embedded version provides complete access to all of the module's capabilities. A variety of packaged versions are available with different combinations of digital and analog inputs and outputs. Temperature inputs are also available on some versions. Configuration/programming of the modules is accomplished through the free software, but a CAN-PC interface card such as the CAN-USB adapter is required.
Other embedded modules for CAN-based networks such as DeviceNet and CANOpen are also available.
