Software

The CAN software listed runs on all the adapters (PCI, USB, PCMCIA, PC/104, Dongle) except for the CAN RS232 and CAN USB Light adapters. Some of the software is included with the purchase of an adapter and other software is a FREE download. The full blown developer software is available for a fee.

Windows drivers are included with the purchase of an adapter. There is a simple programmers API (init, close, read, write, status, versioninfo) that allows users to write applications. For more advanced applications with clients and servers checkout the PCAN developer software.
